How Golden Leprechaun Megaways plays
The reels sit in an enchanted forest. Unlike many Megaways games there is no extra horizontal reel above the grid: each of the six reels can show up to seven symbols, which is how the count reaches 117,649 ways. Wins pay from the leftmost reel, and every win tumbles: the winning symbols vanish and new ones drop into the gaps, so one paid spin can keep going.
The red rosette is the top symbol, worth 50x the stake for six of a kind, followed by the four-leaf clover and a spell book, with A to 10 as the low pays.
At random on any base-game spin, the Lucky Leprechaun can appear and ask you to pick one of three mushrooms. Each hides a modifier:
- Lucky Ways swaps symbols around to create a winning combination, up to six of a kind
- Random Wilds adds up to five wilds anywhere on the reels
- Wild Stacks turns up to four reels wild, each with a multiplier set by the size of that reel; multipliers in the same win are multiplied together, so 3x and 3x make 9x
Lucky Spins
Three or more Lucky Spins scatters award the free spins round, called Lucky Spins, and extra scatters award more spins. At the start you choose a mushroom, and the modifier it reveals is the one that runs for the whole bonus. It appears far more often than in the base game, and no other modifier can activate.
Landing three scatters again during Lucky Spins adds five more spins, plus five for each scatter beyond three. A retrigger never changes the modifier you chose at the start, so the choice of mushroom shapes the whole round.
