How FatStacks Miami Cash plays
Lucksome built the game around a progressive ways system rather than paylines. A spin starts on a six-by-four grid. What changes things is that the grid does not have to stay in single-symbol cells: when the FatStacks mechanic fuses symbols together, the way the reels are divided changes, and with it the number of ways. The studio describes it as the only progressive ways mechanic where that number changes within a single spin.
The second layer is the Luxpots ladder. Luxpot symbols do not need to line up, so they count wherever they land. Lucksome places the whole package in the medium area of the volatility scale, a middle setting between steady small returns and long, uneven gaps.

FatStacks Miami Cash: 6 reels, 4 rows, with up to 1,000,000 ways as symbols merge. The example shows 243 ways on a 5 × 3 grid.
FatStacks
When matching symbols land together on a reel, FatStacks merges them into a double or triple symbol and fresh symbols drop in to fill the gaps. A reel that held four ordinary symbols can end up holding a mix of large and small ones, and every change reshapes the grid, so the ways count rises during the spin itself. The ceiling for all this reshaping is one million ways.
Luxpots prize ladder and its modifiers
Three or more Luxpots anywhere unlock an instant cash prize, and every extra one climbs a rung. Five modifiers can then reshape the ladder. Upgrade lifts every prize to the level above, Shuffle trades what you hold for a prize from a higher tier, Transform puts more Luxpots on the reels, and Merge folds two tiers into one. The fifth, the Platinum Upgrade, replaces the whole ladder with bigger values and can be won twice.
Bonus round
The bonus needs a bonus Luxpot together with enough regular Luxpots to reach the trigger rung. It opens with a pick game, which sets the number of free spins, up to 25, and up to two Platinum Upgrades for the round. Each upgrade replaces the ladder with higher values. In other words, the bonus is a rung on the same Luxpots ladder that pays the instant cash prizes, so the symbols that pay cash in the base game are also the ones that open it.

Frequently asked questions
What is the FatStacks Miami Cash slot?
It is Lucksome’s take on 1980s Miami glamour, built on two systems at once: a ways engine where symbols fuse to reshape the grid, and a cash ladder fed by Luxpot symbols that count wherever they land. Five modifiers, from Upgrade to Platinum Upgrade, can change that ladder while you play.
Why is it called FatStacks?
FatStacks is the name of Lucksome’s merging mechanic. Doubles and triples form from matching symbols, so the stacks on each reel literally get fatter, and that is what pushes the ways count upwards towards its one million ceiling. Fresh symbols then drop in to fill the spaces left behind.
Is FatStacks Miami Cash the same game as Miami Cash FatStacks?
Yes. Lucksome announced it as Miami Cash FatStacks when it first launched the game, and the later Blueprint Gaming release reversed the words. Our lobby spells it Fat Stacks Miami Cash, but the reels, the Luxpots ladder and the bonus round described here are the same.
