How Eye of Horus Gold Spins Megaways plays
The reel heights change on every spin, so the number of ways rises and falls with them, and wins form from matching symbols across the reels. The Eye of Horus wild can land on reels 2 to 5; when it does, it expands into a stacked wild over the whole reel, which on a tall Megaways reel can join a lot of ways at once.
There is also an optional Power Play mode. It costs five times the normal stake, from 50p, and swaps the regular reels for a set built around bonus symbols, which raises the chance of reaching the free games while regular symbol wins drop out.
Free games and Gold Spins
Three or more bonus symbols anywhere in view start the free games. Whenever an expanding wild lands on reel 2, 3 or 4, the upgrade feature fires: the lowest-paying symbol on the ladder becomes the next one up, and up to five symbols can be promoted over the round. Each Horus that lands also adds more free games.
The Megaways version adds a golden Horus. It upgrades symbols just like the standard wild, but it also banks a Gold Spin, up to five in one bonus. Those Gold Spins play once the regular free games are over, on reels limited to cash prize and wild symbols, and each one lands at least one of both. That end-of-round bonus, together with the Power Play option, is what sets this game apart from the earlier Eye of Horus Megaways.
