How Eternal Phoenix Megaways plays
Set in a volcanic cave, the game changes how many symbols each reel shows on every spin. Matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left pay, and each win cascades: winning symbols vanish, new ones fall in and the chain runs while fresh wins appear.
- Paying symbols: card ranks 9 to A, three coloured stones and the phoenix, which pays the most for six of a kind.
- Wild: a fiery wild that stands in for the regular paying symbols.
- Mystery eggs: phoenix eggs can land anywhere and all turn into the same random paying symbol, which can join up several reels at once.
- Power Play: an optional, pricier setting that locks in at least 5,000, 10,000, 15,000 or 20,000 ways per spin.
Free spins and the gamble wheel
Three or more scatters anywhere in view start the free spins. Three scatters give 8 spins, four give 12, five give 16 and six give 20. Before the round begins you can take the spins as they are or spin a gamble wheel that can lift the total as high as 30 but the wheel can also cost you the whole round.
Inside the feature the win multiplier starts at 1x and goes up by one with each cascading win. It has no cap and carries over between spins, so early cascades make later wins worth more. Scatters can also slide in on the top reel during the bonus: three add 5 more spins and four add 10.
