How Amazon Wild plays
The reels are set against ancient ruins and rainforest, and the soundtrack is a mix of bird calls and animal noises. With four rows instead of the usual three, there is room for all 100 lines, which are fixed, so every spin covers the full set and you only choose the stake.
The paytable is built from the wildlife of the Amazon:
- The panther, the top-paying animal
- Monkeys, chameleons and poison dart frogs
- Toucans, parrots and hummingbirds
- Tropical flowers as the lower-value symbols
- A golden idol head as the wild, and a map as the bonus scatter
The golden idol substitutes for every symbol except the map. Its extra trick is the expanding wild: when two or more idols land on the same reel, the whole reel turns wild, which can link up many of the 100 lines on one spin.
The Amazon Map bonus
Three, four or five map scatters anywhere on the reels open the Amazon Map bonus on a second screen. The map shows a set of ancient ruins hidden in the jungle, and you pick ruins one at a time to dig up a cash prize at each one. The number of picks depends on how many maps triggered the round. Prizes are multiplied by your line stake.
