Review of Big Cat Rescue Megaways

This might be Red Tiger's attempt to make up for the bad karma that happened to them after they released Joe Exotic, a game that revolves around the eccentric 'Tiger King', who's currently serving a 22-year sentence. The Big Cat Rescue Park depicted in the game at hand is led by Baskin, the CEO of the park, as anyone who has watched the infamous Netflix show knows.

As part of the proceeds from Big Cat Rescue Megaways, part of Baskin's face can be found on the scatter symbol. Apparently, Baskin and her big cat sanctuary have gotten a lot of heat because of the Netflix documentary, which is why the place is no longer open to the public as of now. As a player, you have the opportunity to contribute if you so desire, and it is also possible to boost your bankroll to the tune of 10,481x your stake by playing this game.

Features of the Big Cat Rescue Megaways Slot

For 6 of a kind wins, you can win between 1.2 and 20 x your stake. It is through the Cascading Wins mechanic that winning symbols are removed, allowing for new and/or existing symbols to drop down to fill in the gaps created by the removal of the winning symbols. If you keep winning, the same process will repeat itself until you reach the end.

Whenever a White Tiger Mega Wild appears on a spin, up to three of them can appear at the same time, and each of them covers the entire reel when it appears. Besides the wild feature, there are also multipliers involved in this feature, as each wild comes with a multiplier that corresponds to the number of positions it occupies on the reel. It gives you a random multiplier between x2 and x7 per wild, and the values are multiplied together to give a total win boost of up to x343, at best.

It is the Big Cat Rescue CEO, Carole Baskin, who is the scatter symbol in this game, and you must land at least three of these symbols to be able to access the Carole's Bonus Round. There will be a large bonus wheel spinning up front at the start of the game, which will award between 7 and 22 free spins along with a multiplier of x1 to x10. As you progress through the bonus round, the progressive win multiplier increases by one per cascade, and you can also get a chance to land White Tiger Mega Multiplier Wilds during the bonus round.

Summary of the review

It came as quite a surprise to us, but we can understand the sentiment behind Red Tiger wanting to do something good for Carol Baskin and her cats after first releasing Joe Exotic. As NoLimit City did with Remember Gulag a few months ago, this is the second time in recent months that a developer has donated some of the profit to a charitable cause. It is safe to assume that Red Tiger hasn't bothered to reinvent the reel with this release, and it's basically a 'copycat' of their very own What The Fox Megaways game.

Despite the semi-realistic visual presentation appearing somewhat hastily put together via the cut and paste method, overall, it's not too shabby to be honest. With up to 117,649 ways to win, the mega multiplier wilds can deliver respectable payouts. In addition to this, there is also a progressive multiplier in the bonus round, which brings the potential for 10,481x well within reach. A combination of the features in this release offers a more deadly combination than you will find in many standard Megaways releases.
