It’s not surprising that Fortune Factory is amongst the countless smaller indie studios that are trying their luck on Microgaming’s Quickfire platform. The biggest hit from the Isle of Man-based developer thus far is probably Aliyas Wishes, and we do not believe that it is yet time for him to attempt to create a character-based franchise, such as Cat Wilde and Lara Croft, because he is only at the beginning of his career. Our 2 cents is that you might want to first break through to the mainstream level of recognition, but hey, that's just our opinion.

While Amber Sterling is a decent, albeit somewhat passive, dame for the wild adventurer type, she does give you encouraging action commentary while playing. Apparently, the top horizontal "Action Reel" and Blazing Wild Respin feature have been trademarked, but we don't see the point. As far as I can tell, it doesn't really seem like something other developers would copy anyway, and similar stuff already exists in abundance in the developer community.

The Mystic Shrine of Amber Sterling has the following features:

The golden medallion wild symbol will act as a replacement for all regular symbols in the game, and it will pay out the same as the highest valued buddha statue symbol. One of the central features of this game is the randomly triggered Action Reel, which is placed in the middle of the reel between two statue heads, at the top of the screen.

It consists of a horizontal top bonus reel that will open at a random time and will trigger 1 of 2 features based on the position of the bonus reel. As a result, if the Action Reel displays one, two or three flames, these will mark an equal number of positions on the regular reel set as well. A Blazing Wild Streak feature is triggered when either a 1x, 2x or 3x Respin symbol appears on the Action Reel when a Blazing Wild Streak is triggered.

It is important to note that the multiplier symbol remains in place while you get one free respin. It is possible for all marked positions on the reels to be turned into wild symbols on the respin, and the wilds can come with up to 5x multipliers. When there are multiple multiplier wilds involved in a win, the multipliers will multiply with each other if more than one multiplier wild is involved in the win. Aside from that, your total win is also multiplied by the multiplier for the Action Reel, which also increases your winnings.

Whenever you land three bonus scatter symbols anywhere on the three middle reels, you will trigger the Jackpot Bonus Game. When Miss Sterling steps on a stone mechanism, the regular reels start sinking into the ground as a result. There are now twelve Buddha head statues displayed instead, and you will be able to pick from each one to reveal a different colored gemstone. To win the jackpot you must match up three of the same prizes, and they correspond to the 4 fixed jackpot prizes:

It is possible to win 5,000 times your stake if you hit the Grand Jackpot.
When you win a Major Jackpot, your stake is worth 200 times what you bet.
When you win a Minor Jackpot, your stake will be multiplied by 40.
If you win the Mini Jackpot, it is worth 15 times your stake.

It was around one minute into the highlights video that we were able to trigger the Jackpot Game after a few smaller wins had been recorded. When the reel set re-emerged, the marked positions remained intact, and the Blazing Wild Respin feature was triggered right away as soon as the reel set re-emerged. Though we did have a better chance of winning with the respin feature towards the end of the game due to the 2x multiplier, we were able to get a decent payout.
