It was bound to happen sooner or later that an Irish Luck themed game would crop up in SpinPlay's somewhat successful Amazing Link series, and with Amazing Link Riches, they are moving away from the Greek gods for the time being. Although it is similar to Amazing Link Zeus in all other aspects, and it borders on being just a reskin of that game, this game is very similar to Amazing Link Zeus.

It is a bit disappointing, as it would not seem to take that much effort to at least make the bonus round a bit different, and it isn't that difficult. You will get free spins with a guaranteed wild reel depicting a cash symbol, which might help you trigger the hold-and-win feature which is similar to the Amazing Link. It is good to know that there are 4 jackpots up for grabs as usual, and the random pick 'em game comes with a jackpot guarantee when it triggers.

It is the rainbow 4-leaf clover Wild symbol which substitutes for all regular pay symbols in order to help you complete winning combinations, and it is also the most valuable symbol in the game. For example, if you land 5 symbols on a payline, you will receive a payout of 10x your stake, whereas regular premiums will pay you between 3 and 5x your stake.

You will receive 10 free spins if you land 3 bonus symbols anywhere in view during the Bonus Round. The Pick feature (see below) can't be triggered from within the bonus round, since a random reel is filled with wild cash symbols on each spin. 3 'amazing wild' symbols appear on the wild reel, increasing your chances of triggering the Amazing Link feature.

The Pick feature triggers randomly after a base game spin (or at the end of the Amazing Link feature), and it awards one of four jackpots. Pick 'em games pay 20, 50, 500, and 5,000 times your stake when you match three of the Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega jackpots.

As soon as six or more Amazing gold coin symbols are landed on a cleared grid, then the Amazing Link feature is triggered and the triggering symbols become locked in place. If you land a sticky amazing symbol on any spin, you'll get three respins for starters, and the tally will reset every time you land a new one.

There are amazing symbols that are associated with a random cash value, and when the amazing symbol feature ends, the random cash value is summed up and paid out to you. As soon as you run out of respins, or when you fill the screen with amazing sticky symbols, you will run into this issue. You also have the chance to win the Mega Jackpot, which is worth 5,000 times your stake, if the latter occurs.

The Amazing Link series from SpinPlay has had some success in the past, and an Irish Luck themed installment seems like a safe option to hopefully continue this winning streak in the future. The bonus round is pretty much the same as the bonus round from Amazing Link Zeus, so it's pretty much a reskin of that game. However, we like the fact that the reels are positioned on top of a giant pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and the visual presentation is decent overall.

Amazing Link is still the biggest draw, not least because you can win the 5,000x mega jackpot by filling the grid with cash symbols. Because of this, you won't usually fill the grid, and the cash symbols alone don't pay much. With the jackpot feature also triggering at random times, the base game grind is made a bit more exciting. Except for the visuals, there is nothing new to see here, which might disappoint some players.
