11 Enchanting Relics is a more memorable release than most similar games, not least because All41 put in enough effort to make it a somewhat unique experience. The scatter jackpot feature has been trademarked and is called Epic StrikeTM. The popular feature works the same as always, but in this version you can land up to 11 'Enchanting Relic' scatters to award instant prizes up to 10,000x your stake.
Furthermore, the scatters are collected in a meter that eventually triggers the Epic Pick scatter prize. In a bonus round, you can win up to 100 extra wilds, but we're not sure how this affects your Epic Strike jackpot chances.
As the highest valued symbol, the Owl Wild substitutes for all regular pay symbols to help complete winning combinations. If you land five wilds on a payline, you can win 50x your stake, but if you land five oak premium symbols, you can win 7.5-37.5x your stake.
If you land 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 Enchanting Relic Scatters on the same spin, you will win 1, 5, 15, 40, 100, 500, 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 times your stake, respectively. Each Enchanting Relic Scatter is collected in the pentagon progress meter in the top-left corner, and this will trigger the Epic Pick feature.
When you open a door, either a regular Enchanting Relic symbol or a Special Enchanting Relic symbol will appear. You then win the jackpot prize corresponding to the number of Enchanting Scatters you collected.
You get 10 free spins and a 1x win if you land three free spin scatters anywhere in view during the Bonus Round. Before the feature plays out, a wheel spins to determine how many extra wilds you receive.
It is possible to add 30, 60, or 100 extra wilds to the reel strips during the feature, and the bonus round can be retriggered. During the free spins round, you can also trigger instant scatter prizes and the Epic Pick feature.
At 1:30 into the 4-minute highlights video, we finally managed to trigger the bonus round after a few near-miss teasers. As a result of the up-front bonus wheel, we got +60 extra wilds, and we skip straight to the Epic Pick feature. Click the play button below to see it all for yourself.
On paper, getting more wilds in the bonus round sounds great, but we wonder if the "fine print" mentions how all these wilds block scatter prize chances. It's not necessarily true, but it makes you wonder.
It's still likely that larger payouts will come from the trademarked Epic Strike scatter feature regardless of how much you bet on one spin (or 1,250x for a screen full of wilds).
