Age of the Gods is Playtech’s 2016 Greek mythology slot and one of the first games in its Age of the Gods jackpot series. It plays on five reels, three rows and 20 paylines, with a pick-a-god free games bonus and four progressive jackpots that can drop on any spin.

How Age of the Gods plays
Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels from reel 1. Six gods are the high-paying symbols, and a golden laurel wreath is the wild, replacing everything except the scatter. Athena, Zeus, Poseidon, Hercules and Aphrodite on one line, in any order, pay the Pantheon of Power prize of 200 times the line bet. After any spin, the jackpot game can start at random: you pick coins until three matching jackpot symbols appear, and those decide which of the four jackpots you win.
The god free games
Three or more scatters start a pick from 20 gold coins. Match three of the same god to win nine free games with that god’s feature:
- Athena: a random 2x to 5x multiplier on each spin.
- Zeus: an extra wild in the middle of reel 3, and a multiplier that steps up from 1x to 3x.
- Poseidon: on random spins, up to five positions turn wild.
- Hercules: reel 3 is fully wild on every spin.
After each set of free games you return to the coins, and the bonus ends when Hades is revealed.
