1 Million Fortunes Megaways slot review
1 Million Fortunes Megaways is an Iron Dog Studio slot from July 2022 that builds on the studio’s 1 Million Megaways BC and moves the action to the Far East. Six Megaways reels hold up to seven symbols each, for up to 117,649 ways, and the free spins add a central Reel of Fortunes that lifts the maximum to 1,058,841. Four tumbles in a row start that round, and the top win is 45,000x stake.

How 1 Million Fortunes Megaways plays
Every spin gives each reel a new height, so the number of ways changes from one spin to the next. Each win triggers a tumble: the winning symbols vanish and fresh ones drop into the gaps. In the base game, every tumble also lifts a win multiplier by 2x, up to 8x.
- Royals: A, K, Q, J and 10 are the lower payers.
- Premium symbols: lotus flowers, gold coins, turtles, ships and phoenixes.
- Wild: a dragon that substitutes for the paying symbols.
Four tumbles to the free spins
The free spins come from the tumbles themselves. Four in a row on a single spin award 8 free spins, and each tumble beyond the fourth adds 2 more, to a maximum of 14.
When the round begins, the Reel of Fortunes appears in the centre of the grid. It can show up to nine symbols, two more than any other reel, which is where the 1,058,841 ways come from.
- Reel lock: a reel that lands its maximum number of symbols locks in place.
- Full Reel of Fortunes: at nine symbols it stays locked for the rest of the round and adds 5 free spins.
- Sticky wilds: wilds on the Reel of Fortunes can become sticky and remain until the round ends.
- Growing multiplier: a free spins multiplier rises as tumbles land.
